I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Study in 2000 at TMU, with an emphasis in K-8 Elementary Education. I continued my degree in 2016-2017 at UMA, and have an online certificate from UC at San Diego Extension. Currently I am working toward my Master's Degree Online in Elementary Education.

Experience in Education and Teaching Phylosophy

My experience in education began 16 years ago when working with all age groups and levels of English Language Learners in-person, online and hybrid modes while living in South America. Additionally, I have taught my own 3 children through the years as well.

As an educator (experience as both paraeducator and the general classroom teacher), my teaching philosophy is based on the safety and well-being of all my students. Their success is my number one priority.

I like to incorporate art, music, and other cultural studies into my lessons.

Since I currently have been working in the schools, I have my First Aid and CPR certificate, Praxis, CBEST, Fingerprinting and background checks, and Mandated Reporting certificate.
